Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. We do not upload your music to streaming platforms unless you are signed up for Royalty Hub Plus.

  • Yes. Each band member who will be credited as a songwriter will need their own account. However, only one member will need to actually submit the songs.

    Note: If you’re choosing Royalty Hub Plus, only one band member needs Plus and the rest can be Standard. In this case, only the member with Plus should submit songs.

  • Absolutely. We can still register your share and collect what you’re owed. You’ll just need some information from the other owner(s) as well.

  • Yes. in fact, most of our clients already have music released. We can collect royalties from your back catalog for the past 6 years in most cases.

  • It depends on your deal. If your publisher/label is already collecting on your behalf, we don’t want to double up. However, if you’re in a non-exclusive or expired deal, or they’re missing royalties, we may still be able to help. We recommend you reach out to us before signing up.

  • Royalty systems run on delays. Once your works are registered, it can take 3 to 6 months to start seeing payouts, depending on the source. After that, payments come in regularly, and we keep you updated with clear reports.

  • Yes. Beatstars bars you from copyrighting a beat (if you have a non-exclusive license), but we can still register your work to collect royalties. Just ensure the producer is not entitled to any royalties and all samples have been cleared.

  • Yes. If you own a share of the song as a producer, writer, or featured artist, we can help you collect your part of the royalties.

  • We are working hard to develop a client portal, but as of right now you can only see your royalty information in quarterly reports. We’d be happy to send you your information upon request as well.

  • No. We operate based on a simple commission structure, allowing you to retain full ownership of your rights.

  • You keep 85% of all the royalties. We retain the remaining 15% to support the operation of the Royalty Hub and to grow our services so we can continue helping more artists and teams.

  • If you decide to cancel your service, we will take down any songs we have previously registered so you can re-register them yourself. We will also make sure any remaining owed royalties are paid out to you.

  • Individuals can sign up for either Royalty Hub Standard or Royalty Hub Plus, or you can schedule a free consultation with us to go over any questions you may have before you make a decision.
