Big Oats Music is an independent music company based in San Diego, California. Founded by music creators and enjoyers, we began as a hub for creative services like audio production, sound design, and cover art. Our mission has always been to support independent musicians with the tools and knowledge they need to move forward on their own terms. As the industry evolved, naturally we did too. This lead us to the creation of the Big Oats Royalty Hub, our in-house royalty collection and administration service. Today, Big Oats exists at the intersection of creativity and business, providing artists and writers with both the freedom to create and the structure to get paid.

Kyle Larochelle is a U.S. Air Force veteran, experienced audio engineer, and music business graduate from Berklee College of Music and Full Sail University. He’s a passionate advocate for independent artists and a firm believer in creative ownership and transparency in the modern music industry. As a co-founder of Big Oats Music and a lifelong music fan, he’s dedicated to helping artists take control of their sound and their royalties.

Dominic Ramdin
Dominic Ramdin is a graphic designer and artist marketing professional with a passion for supporting independent musicians. He’s a UCLA graduate with a background in business strategy and entrepreneurship, and has helped artists grow their visibility through design, promotion, and strategic development. As a co-founder of Big Oats Music, Dominic focuses on building visual identity and marketing tools that empower artists to grow on their own terms.
